How To Play Sound Of An Alarm
The information in this document applies to latest revision.
It is necessary to configure alarm action for a given point
Step 1:
Configuration of alarm action
1 - Download alarm_sound.zip from here and unzip in C:\scada\bin directory
2 - Select the menu: Configure\Configure Sample Points
3 - Select a point
4 - Press button Limits and configure alarm
5 - Press button Actions
6 - Fill in the edit field Alarm Action with the string: !C:\scada\bin\play_sound.exe
7 - Press button Apply and then press Exit
8 - Restart monitor.exe for the changes to take effect.
